Catalysts FCFE2 are used by the Subaru brand. These are ceramic catalysts with a length of up to 60 cm and a weight of only 0.49 kg. They are characterized by asymmetrical construction, flattened edges of the cover and a number located on the edge.
Catalysts with FCFE2 number were installed in the model Subaru Impreza GD WRX 2.0 T in the years 2001-2005.
You can follow the price of the model outside the promotion in our price list, on the catalyst page.
About Subaru Impreza we have already written on our website. Today, we will pay special attention to Event II, also referred to by the “GD” producers.
The second-generation Subaru is a compact manufactured in 2000 – 2007 by Subaru in Ota and Gunma in Japan.
It was built based on a significantly modified version of the first generation platform. The New Event followed the same pattern as its predecessor, including a similarly contoured figure. Despite this, the stylization, and precisely the distinction of oval headlights, caused quite a few controversies. This version of the Event has gained the nickname “Bug Eye” among Subaru enthusiasts.
The body dimensions for the sedan increased by 45 mm (1.8 inches) in length, 40 mm (1.6 inches) in width and 25 mm (1.0 inches) in height; wheelbase increased by 5 mm (0.2 inches). In addition, to comply with Japanese vehicle tax regulations, the width of the hatchback increased by just 5 mm (0.2 inches) to 1695 mm (66.7 inches), and therefore remained in the “5” classification.
GD chassis gained almost 200 kg (441 pounds) compared to the GC chassis. Subaru claims that compared to the previous model, the GD chassis is stiffer in terms of torsion and bundle. This stiffness is primarily due to the addition of a steel “ring”. Stiffness has been increased for the safety of passengers, it is also an additional opportunity to ensure greater stability during sporting events.
Subaru released this generation of Events to North America in 2001. Version Impreza WRX with 169 kW (230 hp, 227 hp) turbocharged did not appear despite earlier plans until 2002, and Impreza WRX STI was delayed until 2004.
Outback Sport was sold in Australia in the years 2001–2007, but its name was changed to Impreza RV with the same color scheme as the American version. The Australian version had a manual dual-band case, not available in the United States. The event became the “Car of the Year” by Wheels magazine for 2000.
The event received naturally aspirated, flat engines with 1.5, 1.6, 2.0 or 2.5 liter capacity, with performance-oriented and improved WRX “WRX” and “WRX” models that have been turbocharged. Export models usually received all-wheel drive.
Subaru introduced the “New Age” Party to Japan in August 2000. The first-generation coupe body style has not appeared again in the new series.
