As we have already mentioned many times – neglecting even the smallest symptoms of failure, may result in not only further problems with other parts of the car, but also may cause a real threat to the lives of our and our relatives.

Successful conditions are necessary for this task to be carried out successfully. First of all, very high temperature, sometimes reaching over 600 degrees Celsius. It is enough, therefore, for a small leak in any of the parts to come into contact with the fuel or its vapors. Then it is not difficult for misfortune.

In addition to the above dangerous factors, it is worth paying attention to self-made mechanical and electrical modifications as well as independent repairs. Even such prosaic situations as installing a radio or CB in a garage can lead to a short circuit in the installation and a fire.

So how to avoid the auto-ignition of a car that is dangerous for health and life?

• In addition to mandatory, annual technical inspections, during which the efficiency of all installations is not verified, it is worth going to a specialist plant, which checks the condition of the car in a thorough way, connecting it to the computer and a special diagnostic program
• Paying attention to any symptoms that may indicate failure of any of the parts – even if they are seemingly insignificant for the functioning of the car, we should remove them as soon as possible, before they will deepen and destroy further parts.
• Particular attention should be paid to the condition of the catalyst due to the high temperatures at which it operates. The drop in the car’s power, the smoke coming from the muffler of unusual color, unusual sounds coming out of the exhaust system – these are the symptoms that should disturb us and prompt us to visit the workshop immediately
• An unprofessional catalyst – we should replace as soon as possible with a new one (original or universal) – the costs can be considerable, however, thanks to the sale of a catalyst in the purchase we can offset them. The sale is extremely simple, because these stores are located all over Poland, and in addition, we can make sales in the mail order purchase without leaving the house. Even a heavily damaged catalyst can be worth a lot – it all depends on the content of precious metals.
