So if someone really wants to wait for the so-called “better times”, it would be best to put aside those catalytic converters that come from cars with a petrol engine. In the case of diesels, “putting it aside” doesn’t make much sense. The filter will make it easier to make a decision.

Moreover, taking into account the current market situation and your needs, we have reduced the minimum quantity of catalysts needed to arrange wholesale delivery to 100 pieces.

In 2023, we took part in many events.

We started JANUARY 2023 with the New Year’s SIEMA, i.e. involvement in the annual collection of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, where we prepared a large basket of gadgets for the auction. At the same time, on the same day, January 29, 2023, we took part for the first time in WRAK-RACE, the idea of ​​which, as the name suggests, is to race old and damaged vehicles. Our stand was very popular, and the main attraction was the rollover and collision simulator prepared for us by the company Pro-Kierowca Driving License Pszczyna.

We visited this event again in MARCH during the edition of WRAK-RACE Silesia WOMEN’S DAY 19/03/2023, where this time our colleagues took an active part in the races, presenting their great skills behind the wheel of a “pimped-up” Hyundai.

IN FEBRUARY, we had the great pleasure and opportunity to share our knowledge and experience during the webinar “End-of-life vehicles. Legal and registration obligations”. MAY was dominated by the slogan “Let’s save the bees”, which was the main idea of ​​the 3rd Chrzanów Eco-Fair. We celebrate World Bee Day on May 20, so we couldn’t celebrate this event any other way. Traditionally, we took part in the event as a co-organizer, but also one of the 32 companies, institutions and associations presented during the event – an exhibitor. We are happy to see that each year the event, organized together with Unimetal Recycling and MOKSiR Chrzanów, is becoming more and more popular among the residents of our district and we do not hide that we are hungry for more, so follow our profile to learn more about the next edition!

JUNE was a month of fun and family feasting thanks to the Children’s Day organized at our headquarters. The good mood that day was ensured not only by the favorable summer weather, but also by the attractions prepared for our employees and their families. This month, there was also the excitement of a trip to Seoul, the capital of South Korea, to the METAVERSE EXPO 2023 SEOUL fair, where, together with our partner Unimetal Recycling, we gained knowledge about the economic system 3.0 and technologies based on artificial intelligence.

IN SEPTEMBER, a new season of our Chrzanów handball players began in the first league games. At this point, we must boast that the Unimetal Recycling MTS Chrzanów team we support finished the first round with a record of 10 victories, thus taking the leader’s seat! Congratulations and we keep our fingers crossed for further fruitful results during the second round of the competition, to which we invite you to participate from February 17/18.

IN OCTOBER we took part in the ecological event Clean, Green Cities – Chrzanów, which was created on the initiative of the Clean Poland Program Association. As part of this event, together with our colleagues from the UniLab Analytical Laboratory, we engaged in cleaning the Chechło River valley and planting trees at ul. Chestnut. There were also attractions prepared together with UniLab, which appeared at our stand during the picnic accompanying the event.

DECEMBER is, of course, the company Christmas Eve, where we celebrated the past year together with our partners, employees and friends. The time of integration, summaries and great fun allowed us to say goodbye to 2023 together.

Galant is a car that was produced by the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi in the years 1969-2012. The name of the model comes from the French word galant, meaning “knightly”. There were nine different generations, with total sales exceeding five million units. Production began with a compact sedan, but over the years Galant was transformed into a medium-sized car. Initial production took place in Japan, but from 1994 the US market was served by vehicles assembled at the former Diamond-Star Motors (DSM) plant in Normal, Illinois.

The first generation of the car, initially known as Colt Galant, was released in December 1969 in the new Japanese Mitsubishi salon called Galant Shop . The project was named by Mitsubishi “Dynawedge”, referring to the effect of aerodynamics on the silhouette of the vehicle.

Mercedes W211 has been produced since 2002 by the German automotive group Mercedes-Benz. Recognized as a Premium upper-middle class vehicle in the E segment, it has become the most popular limousine in this segment.
The W211 is the third generation of the Mercedes E-class, which replaced the predecessor called W210. The car was offered in two body versions. The version of the four-door sedan was called the title description W211, while the five-door station wagon version was called S211.
Both the first and second version are distinguished by spaciousness of the passenger compartment, convenience, elegance, comfort and modern design.
The Mercedes model certainly catches the eye because of its great finishes, the giant boot with a capacity of 540 liters and a wide range of modern engines. The catalyst model we are writing about was in one of the dynamic engines in the E320 version with a V6 capacity of 3.2 liters and 224 hp, where the maximum speed reaches up to 250 km / h.
In addition to gasoline engines, the manufacturer offered diesel versions, including turbo diesel, where even the pro-ecological version with 3.0 CDI Bluetec capacity of 211 hp was created. The last engine that was introduced to this model was the 1.8 CNG engine, which could be powered by both gasoline and gas.
Customers value this model for its maneuverability and driving comfort while traveling. The merit of this result is certainly the use of multi-link suspension and the body made of aluminum elements that contributed to the reduction of the vehicle’s weight.
Marcedes W211 relies on electronics to support vehicle operation and increase driving comfort. Of course, these are features that seem to be convenience and luxury, but it’s worth knowing that any electronic failure is associated with a service visit, because getting spare parts is very difficult.
In 2004, a paging action took place due to a faulty operation of the SBC electrohydraulic braking system, therefore in 2006 modernizations were introduced that aimed at improving and full efficiency of the braking system and the software contained therein.
In addition to this modification, the car underwent a small facelift, where the bumper was replaced, new rear lamp shades were introduced, the radiator grille was changed, and minor changes were made to the dashboard.

Describing the W211 as a whole, it’s worth appreciating its good handling, dynamic engines, high ride comfort, great finish and spacious interior and trunk.
The disadvantages include an electrician, electrohydraulic brakes, high shopping prices and high operating costs are particularly troublesome.

Despite the extreme opinions about the Mercedes W211, the car enjoys great popularity and crowds of fans. Technological solutions from Mercedes S-Class certainly contributed to the success of this model. The eternal rivals of the Mercedes W11 are the Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series. In 2009, the production of this model was completed and the fourth generation of the model called W212 was introduced.

Jaguar X Type 3.0 is a vehicle that was produced by the American group Ford Motor Company under the British brand Jaguar in 2001-2009. This model belongs to the middle class of the D-premium segment. This car was built on the floor plate from Ford Mondeo III, where apart from the plate they also shared other components such as the engine or braking system. An important aspect in the case of this Jaguar model is the fact that for the first time in the history of this brand the vehicle appeared in a station wagon version and with a diesel engine, however, they did not achieve a spectacular sales result, and in the secondary market, however, the Sedan version is most common.

Jaguar X Type 3.0 offers a wide menu of power units. The first of these come from a borrowed Ford Mondeo 3MK. The 3.0 l unit with 200 km of power is one of the most dynamic engines in this model. Diesel is not very popular due to the failure rate that makes drivers feel bad. The basic diesel engine is the 2.0 TDCi engine. In 2002, the Jaguar model underwent Europ NCAP crash tests, in which it obtained 4/5 stars. Such a result certainly indicates safety while driving.

This car will certainly bring a lot of comfortable feelings when traveling. The characteristic murmur of the V6 engine gives sportiness. The high quality of the materials from which the vehicle was created, and at the same time a reasonable price level will certainly tempt many drivers to buy this model.

VW JETTA is a compact car belonging to the C and D segment border. It was manufactured for the first time in 1979 by a German brand Volkwagen. In 2018, the 6th generation of this model was released, which means that it has been on the market for 40 years.

The first generation of this model was produced in 1979-1983, it appeared for the first time at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The manufacturer’s intention was to create a vehicle that would become a sedan version of the flagship model of the brand – Volkwagen Golf. This car by its version of the body was definitely larger, more prestigious, and thus slightly more expensive than its brother model.
Most of the technical things were taken from the Golf model. Rectangular headlights have become a monotonous element in VW models, which have become a characteristic attribute of vehicles. The otherness of the models was mainly the use of different types of body.
During the first generation, the manufacturer offered as many as five gasoline engines with powers from 50 to 112 km and two diesel engines that generated power from 54 to 70 km.
By the time the second model series was released, over 600,000 models had been created.

The second generation of the vehicle entered the market in 1984. This model could be found under the name A2, Type 16 or 1G. After a year of presence on the European market, the manufacturer decided to release the vehicle on the American market. In order to save on production, the manufacturer started technological cooperation with other automotive concerns. Due to this situation, Jetta Mk II shares a lot of elements with Golf II, Corrado or Seat Toledo. Jetta II was offered in two body variants, a four-door sedan and a two-door coupe.
The most pronounced modifications that were introduced with the new version are definitely the size of the vehicle, and thus also the capacity, this time the vehicle could easily fit 5 people in the car. Obtaining a more streamlined appearance of the body certainly influenced the clearer elegance of the car. The headlights, which were included during the first generation, were still used in the improved version, only the rear headlights were changed, which were significantly different from those installed in the VW Golf II.
In 1998, the vehicle underwent a face-lift under which the appearance of the body was changed. The main focus was on the sphere around the license plate, where a plastic blend was added which glued the plate giving it a more refined look. In addition to this modification, bumpers have also been improved, which have been integrated with the lower part of the front of the so-called hokejkami.

Volkswagen In addition to manufacturing its model in Europe and the United States, it also began production in Mexico, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nigeria, South Africa and China.
The most popular drive units were gasoline engines with a capacity of 1.3 l and 54 km, 1.6 l with 69-75 km, 1.8 l 84-98 km. In diesel engines it was limited to a 1.6-liter unit with 54 km of power with TD designation, which allowed it to squeeze 60, 69 or 80 km from the engine.

The third generation of the vehicle was first presented in 1991, this time in Europe it was presented under the changed name Vento. Initially, the car was sold only on the European market, only after two years from the debut of the third version, the model was introduced to the American market under the name unchanged Jetta. Despite the difference in names, the next Volkswagen model did not differ much in technical terms. Certainly a visible change was once again getting even more streamlined silhouette of the vehicle. As in previous generations, the car was built on a floor plate adopted from the next generation of Golf, i.e. the Golf III model.

The fourth generation of the Jetta IV adopted the European name Bora. The original naming has been preserved in North America and South Africa, where the vehicle enjoyed the greatest popularity. The model was presented for the first time in 1998. This time the car was built on the floor plate from VW A4 PQ34, which was used for such models as Golf IV, Skoda Octavia or Seat Toledo II.
Volkswagen Bora is definitely an improved version of the Golf IV. Not only that, the Jetty also appeared in the station wagon for the first time. Stylistically and technically, Volkswagen Bora was associated with the Volkswagen Passat and, as in the case of earlier models, its twin Golf model. The most powerful engines in this generation turned out to be gasoline engines with a capacity of 2.8 VR6 and a power of 204 km, where this unit was offered only with all-wheel drive. Compared to its predecessor, the new generation of the model was slightly shorter, but higher and wider. The new version of the model looked more fresh and modern. The bumpers were color-compatible with the body, which gave it an elegant look. The headlights still remained in their characteristic rectangular appearance. Depending on the choice of equipment version, the car contained, among others ABS and ESP system, two or four airbags, electric windows, electric windows and sunroof, power steering, air conditioning, heated seats, satellite navigation system, as well as a choice of automatic or manual transmission. The most popular power units in this generation were gasoline engines with a capacity of 1.4 and 75 km, 1.6 and 100 km 1.8 Motion with 125 km and a powerful version of the vehicle 2.3 VR5 with 150 km. In the case of diesel units, the manufacturer offered 1.9-liter engines in versions from 68 km SDI to the most powerful 150 km TDI.
Production of this generation ended in 2005.

The next, fifth generation of the model was first presented in 2005 at the Los Angeles Motor Show. After experiments related to changing the debut name, the manufacturer decided to return to the original title of the model, i.e. Jetta V. As in previous models, the Jetta is still built on the basis of a floor from Golf, this time in version V. This car has already undergone a wide metamorphosis and has become extremely practical model. The trunk in this vehicle is definitely roomy and amounts to 527 liters. A strong attribute of the model is the suspension, which allows you to perform certain maneuvers. The low center of gravity contributes to dynamic cornering.
The interior of the Jetta is largely taken from the twin brother of the Golf V. This vehicle model is definitely a model made on a high level of materials, making Jetta a successful design that combines the features of a compact car with a sedan.

The sixth generation of the model began in 2010 and was presented at Time Square in New York. Although the vehicle still shares the floor plate with the Golf, this time the vehicles are no longer as closely related visually. In 2012, a hybrid version of this model appeared, which was presented at the Los Angeles Motor Show. The United States proved to be the main market for the vehicle, where the car is very popular.
In addition to the hybrid presentation, you can buy gasoline and diesel engines in standard offers. The most popular in this generation is the 1.4-liter engine that achieves power of 122 or 160 km. Sport emotions are provided by the 2.0 TSI 200 km unit. In the case of diesel, the 2.0 TDI engine with a power of 140 km, which ensures good vehicle dynamics, deserves attention.
The interior of the car was made of high quality materials. Standard vehicle equipment includes ABS with ESP, electric window control, electric mirror control, front airbags, central locking, radio, air conditioning, heated side mirrors. Good power units and reliable driving are gaining their supporters all over the world.

Currently, the 2018 seventh generation of the Jetty has already appeared, where it was presented at the Detroit motor show. Unfortunately, this vehicle is not available on European markets. The main country for which this model generation was created is the United States, where this vehicle model has already managed to firmly enter the hearts of Americans.
